3 years agoReally freaking awesome place. No wait. Server was nice. Atmosphere was laidback. Not too loud for a bar. Food came out quickly and we never felt rushed. Hubby did not like his Yazoo drink - it was too sour for him. But the food was exceptionally good. The fried pierogies was freaking phenomenal. Fried mashed potatoes have never tasted so darn delicious. The sauce it paired with was sweet and the pecans added a crunchy texture to the mix. Seriously - so yummy. The pork belly basket was soooooo good. The portions look small at first glance but was more than enough as an entree. Hubby enjoyed his fish and chips and my kids enjoyed their burgers. The fries were excellent. I rarely give out 5 star reviews but this place earned each one!!

year agoBartender staff is superb. Brunswick stew amazing. Fish and chips I could eat every day. Every dessert on their menu is worth getting and they have a special every month! Cornbread is worthy of my liver. Love this place and only been there 4 times.

7 months agoFantastic beer bar with an interesting old-school atmosphere and a solid food menu. Some of the food (salmon pasta) was a it greasy, but that's the only real complaint. Wait staff was super friendly, helpful, and responsive. Beer menu is among the best in the country. Wish I lived closer.

year agoArugula salad with turkey Same with chicken salad We had a great at the Brick Store in Decatur. The weather was nice that Sunday afternoon, so we decided use their outdoor seating. We have great service. The atmosphere outside was full of life, with people finding many ways to enjoy the weather. 3 of us dined. Our meals were Arugula Salad with Turkey, Arugula Salad with Chicken Salad, and Fish & Chips. The Fish was a large serving of Fried Cod. The fish tasted like fish. Cod is my least favorite restaurant fish. I oredered the Arugula Salad with Chicken Salad. That was really good! I had been traveling needed some greens. This fit the bill! It was a nice size salad that included pecans and feta cheese, among other salad stuff, with a balsamic vinegar dressing. The chicken salad was simple with celery, onion, and pickles. Both of the Arugula Salads needed some more dressing. The charcuterie board was delicious! We also enjoyed a couple of beers, an American IPA called 'A Night on Ponce' from Three Taverns brewing and a fruited blonde ale called 'Sorry, not Sour' from Prarie brewing. The IPA was good, it had a heavy citrus flavor and was mild with the hops. The blonde ale was very sweet. To me it seemed more like a fruit seltzer.

month agoFive stars for an outstanding an unique pub/restaurant! I'm visiting the Atlanta area from Florida, staying in Decatur and was looking for some late night food and a beer. This place checked all the boxes. The bartenders were extremely friendly and accommodating, the food was outstanding, and they have quite a selection of beers I've never heard of, which was amazing to try some of the ones that I can't even pronounce! I would definitely return and maybe will do so on this trip!

7 months agoMid-week getaway at the Belgium Bar in the heart of Decatur! Incredible vibes, mouthwatering food rated 10/10, and a perfectly poured Guinness champion!

4 months agoVery nice pub, with very distinctive character on the inside, it feels like being in a real English / Irish pub. Fish and chips were very good. Prices aligned to the Atlanta's standard.

4 months agoA little taste of England when we ordered the fish and chips. Finished off with a cup of Earl Grey tea. A very enjoyable evening.

month agoOne of the coolest, most delicious spots I’ve ever stumbled upon. The Salmon BLT is to mouth watering heaven to washed down an incredible selection of craft beer from the garden. Welcome to Valhalla and in Decatur, GA of all places! Who knew! 🍻😇

3 months agoI was recommended this pub by so many people. I was in DT Decatur with some friends, my wife, and brother after my birthday dinner, and wanted a place to go, to continue the fun. Brick Store was literally not even 100 feet from where we went for dinner, Iberian Pig. We went upstairs to have a drink. The vibes are super cool inside this pub! In my opinion, this might be one of the best beer pubs that I have ever been to. The upstairs feels very rustic and almost like you're in a castle of some sort. In true fashion, of course I got a glass of Guinness. It was perfect! Our server was super friendly and very attentive. She even provided some suggestions based on what the others were looking for. Her name was Olivia! Brick Store also has a full food menu too, but we just came for drinks. The food menu is tradiitonal pub type food, so fish and chips, chicken pot pie, etc. It honestly looked really good! I will definitely be back here in the future!!
